POSITIVE BEHAVIOR CONTRACT

If accepted in the Know Leadership Class, I agree that my role includes the responsibility to pledge to adhere to the following behaviors:

Ø      To lead through example

Ø      To model healthy behaviors and decision-making skills, including abstaining from any use of alcohol, tobacco, or other illegal drugs.

Ø      To abide by norms set forth by our Know Leadership Class.

Ø      To honor expectations set forth by St. Paul’s Episcopal School and its community.

Ø      To consider the consequences of my actions (both positive and negative) on myself, fellow students, the Know Leadership Class program, my school, and community.

Ø      To abide by the guidelines of confidentiality and the process of referral.

I understand that non-compliance with any of the above guidelines may lead to my immediate removal from the Know Leadership Class.

I have read the Positive Behavior Contract for my student’s involvement in the Know leadership course, an elementary positive choice program that my student will be teaching to children in Grades 1 – 5. I understand there will also be other focus areas the school considers important and will require participation. 

I understand that my son/daughter has to comply with all expected behaviors stated in the above contract as part of their leadership responsibility as a member of this mentoring program.

I understand that non-compliance with the expected behaviors set forth in the student Positive Behavior Contract may lead to the immediate removal of my son/daughter from the Know Leadership program.
