This web page in support of your textbook for the APUSH class should be your first stop on the web. Check out the chapter summaries and the practice tests. You can even purchase podcasts of chapter summaries. Add the url to your "favorites" and utilize this valuable resource before every test. Free registration is required. If you are having problems with the site on IE, try Mozilla.

Talking History Podcasts. These radio interviews with noted historians was sponsored by the Organization of American Historians. It is an easy and informative way to access the latest in historigography. You will be assigned several of these, but I enourage you to listen to all of them. Try it while excersising or riding in the car.

Eyewitness to History
My favorite primary source site for general social studies.. This site is easy to navigate and extremely interesting. Each primary source is presented along with an explanation of its historical context, useful images, and a bibliography. You can either browse all of the sources in order of date by using the Index, or you can jump to listings specific to a certain century.

CIA World Factbook
This is am excellent site for information about specific countries. The map section is very good. You can print out maps in pdf to jpeg format.

Nite Sheigo
WWII diaries of my father-in-law, David A. Bramlett. He fought in Africa, Italy and landed on the beaches of Normandy on D-Day. This live-journal site was established by my daughter, who is transcribing the orginal diaries. This is a wonderful primary source for the WWII experiences of the "commmon soldier." Actually, DB was far from common as you will learn if you read these entries.
