Special Pentathlon Competition Rules:

·         Time between events – No more than 15 minutes rest between the end of one event and the beginning of the next event.

·         High Jump – Athlete will start at a selected height and will have four total attempts.

·         Horizontal Jumps / Throws – 2 attempts only

·         Entry Fee - $5 per athlete

Shot Put /Discus

Boys –Discus first followed by Shot Put @ 4:00 PM

Girls – Shot Put first followed by Discus @ 4:15 PM

·         3 Attempts in preliminaries, Top 9 advance to finals for more 3 attempts.

Athletes entered in the throws may not compete in the pentathlon.

Pole Vault (Girls & Boys Combined)

            Opening Height: 7-0

Special Competition Rule: Bar will be raised in one foot increments. Last remaining athlete in male and female divisions can choose subsequent heights.

Entry Limits: Limit 4 entries per school

Start Time: 4:00 PM

·         Entry fee - $5 per athlete

·         Registration Deadline – Tuesday, April 15, 2008 – 5PM, $10 late fee for additional entries after set dead line.
