NCAA Academic Qualification Information:

  1. In order to participate at a NCAA Division I or II school, you must qualify for NCAA.
  2. NCAA qualification is based on GPA and ACT or SAT scores.
  3. Based on the ACT or SAT score, students must have a specific GPA rounded to the thousandths of a point. For example, if the GPA requirement is 2.537 and a student has a 2.536, he or she will not qualify.
  4. NO one can help qualify a student for NCAA if test scores and grades do not meet their requirements.
  5. A school offers scholarships Pending NCAA qualification. Students can be offered a scholarship but if they don’t meet NCAA requirements the scholarship can be revoked.
  6. Grades for NCAA qualification Begin counting 1st quarter of the freshman year. If a student has a D in any core course, he or she is already at risk of not qualifying.
